Celebrate St Patrick

Saturday 7 March

St Patrick's RC Cathedral, Armagh

Join composer and presenter John Anderson as he conducts a celebratory and reflective event honouring our patron saint. Taking place in the magnificent setting of St Patrick's Roman Catholic Cathedral, choirs from across the island and further afield unite in a unique evening of music and spoken word.

This is an exciting mix of music and dance, traditional and classical, ancient and modern, the reflective and exuberant, sacred and secular, all combining to make this a very special concert.

Rutter - Gloria

Saturday 18 April, 7.30 pm

St Mary Redcliffe, Bristol

John Rutter is one of England's most lauded living choral composers and his Gloria, written in 1974, is one of his earliest compositions. The three movement work is rife with vibrant rhythms and rich, harmonic textures and the brass and choir regularly come together in a striking tapestry of sound.

Lucis and Aldbourne Band will join forces for an evening of uplifting music, featuring Vaughan Williams' Five Mystical Songs, Eric Ball's Resurgam and the Hallelujah chorus by Handel.

Carmina Burana

Saturday 7 November, 7.30pm

Bath Forum

This unmissable concert is being touted as Bath's Choral Event of the Year and it is not difficult to see why. The choirs of Lucis and Bath Choral Society join forces for the first time to perform one of the great choral spectacles, Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, accompanied by the Bristol Ensemble in the Bath Forum.

Poulenc's Stabat Mater will kickstart the programme and musical directors Francis Faux and Shean Bowers will be sharing the conductor's podium for the evening.
